TextArray vs Code Beautify
Updated August 26, 2026
Code Beautify is one of the largest online developer toolboxes — formatters, validators, converters and beautifiers numbering in the hundreds, plus a login and, on the page itself, the line "Ad blocking? It's okay. Please share on social media to support us."
That sentence is the honest summary of the trade: the catalogue is broad and free, and advertising is what pays for it.
Where Code Beautify is strong
- A very large catalogue, including image and file conversions TextArray does not attempt.
- Long-established, so most of these tools already rank for the query you typed.
- Saved and shareable snippets behind an optional login.
TextArray covers the overlapping ground — JSON, XML, YAML, SQL, HTML and CSS formatting and minifying, Base64 and URL encoding, hashes, JSON to TypeScript, Go, Rust, C#, Java, Zod and Protobuf — without advertising anywhere on the page and without an account. Nothing is metered and nothing is saved.
The clearer difference is what the page is allowed to do. TextArray permits exactly one outbound request in the entire site, to a cookieless analytics beacon, and a build-time check fails the deploy if anything else creeps in. An ad-funded site is by construction loading third-party scripts on the page where you paste your payload.
