Type a word or a name and this tool breaks it into its letters, laying out one line for each — the skeleton of an acrostic poem, ready for you to fill in. It's built for classroom projects, birthday cards, wedding vows or any poem where each line is meant to carry forward a single letter.
Letter position chooses the classic form: initial letters lines up the key letter at the start of each line, the traditional acrostic; final letters moves it to the end of each line instead, a form known as a telestich. Letter case controls whether the key letters print uppercase, lowercase, or exactly as you typed the word. Add your own word bank under word suggestions — a comma- or line-separated list — and the tool matches words to each letter automatically wherever one fits, filling that line for you instead of leaving a blank. Highlight key letters brackets each one so it stands out on the page, and keep spaces for multi-word input adds a blank line at each word break in a full name so the parts stay visually separated.
Digits, punctuation and emoji are skipped since they have no letter to anchor a line on, and a name of any length is handled the same way, letter by letter. The live tally under the output reports the words in your name, the lines generated and how many were filled automatically from your suggestion list.
Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded anywhere. Once you're happy with the skeleton, copy it, download it as a .txt file, or send the output back into the input to keep refining it.
