Input

Campaign cost calculator

Paste a list of ad campaigns, one per line, with their cost, impressions, clicks and conversions, and this tool computes the metrics media buyers check every day: CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA and conversion rate. Add an optional revenue column and it also works out ROAS and profit margin, so you can see which campaigns are actually paying for themselves without opening a spreadsheet.

Choose which metrics to show with the checkboxes, and pick a currency and a number of decimal places to match how your reports are formatted. Sorting the list by any metric — cost, CPA, ROAS and the rest — puts your best or worst performers at the top instantly, and flagging campaigns above or below a threshold (say, CPA over $20, or ROAS under 2) marks them in the output so nothing slips past a quick scan. A totals row, recomputed from the summed cost, impressions and clicks rather than averaged from the per-row numbers, gives you the honest blended figures for the whole list.

The input separator can be a comma, semicolon, tab or pipe, or left on auto-detect for pasted spreadsheet data. Rows that are missing a field, or that break with a comma inside a campaign name, are marked invalid and skipped, so one bad line never breaks the rest of the report. Output comes as a padded, readable table or as CSV you can drop straight back into a spreadsheet.

Everything runs locally in your browser — your campaign costs and revenue are never uploaded anywhere. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send the output back into the input to keep refining the numbers.

FAQ

What format does the campaign list need to be in?
One campaign per line: name, cost, impressions, clicks, conversions, and optionally revenue as a sixth value, separated by commas (or another separator you choose).
How is ROAS different from margin?
ROAS is revenue divided by cost, shown as a multiplier like 3.20x. Margin is profit as a percentage of revenue: (revenue − cost) ÷ revenue. Both need the optional revenue column turned on.
How does the totals row work?
It sums cost, impressions, clicks, conversions and revenue across every campaign first, then recalculates CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS and margin from those totals — a correct blended figure, not an average of averages.
What happens to a campaign missing conversions or clicks?
Metrics that would divide by zero, like CPA with no conversions, show as a dash instead of an error. The rest of that row still calculates normally.
Is my campaign data uploaded anywhere?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — your costs, revenue and campaign names never leave your device.
