Couple name combiner

Paste two names and this tool blends them into a list of combined variants — the classic "ship name" or couple-name mashup, generated properly instead of guessed by hand. Enter both names on separate lines (or joined by a comma, "&", "+" or "and" on one line) and it splits each one into syllables, then joins the start of one name with the end of the other in every reasonable combination.

The options control how the split and the joining work. "Split by" chooses between syllables (spoken units, like "Kri-sti-na") and sound groups (a more mechanical split at every vowel/consonant boundary, giving shorter, punchier blends). "Name order" picks whether the first name leads, the second leads, or both directions are generated. Minimum and maximum length keep results in a usable range, "Filter hard-to-pronounce clusters" drops variants that stack three or more consonants at the seam, and "Syllable rules" sets which letters count as vowels — pick Slovak, Czech, German or Spanish for a name with accented vowels like á, é or ü, so it splits the way that language actually pronounces it. "Keep diacritics" decides whether those accents survive into the blend or get flattened to plain letters.

Every variant is sorted by an estimated pronounceability score before the list is trimmed to the requested count, so the easiest-to-say combinations come first. Names shorter than three letters, unusual scripts, or a name with no letters at all (just numbers or symbols) simply produce no variants rather than a wrong-looking guess.

Everything runs locally in your browser — the two names you enter are never uploaded or logged anywhere. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send it back into the input to filter or reformat it with another tool.

FAQ

How do I enter two names?
Type each name on its own line. A single line also works if the names are separated by a comma, "&", "+" or "and" — for example "Alex & Jordan".
What's the difference between splitting by syllables and by sound groups?
Syllables follow how the name is actually spoken (Kri-sti-na); sound groups just split at every vowel/consonant boundary, which is more mechanical and often gives shorter blends.
Why did I get no results?
One of the names may be too short, contain no letters, or every combination may have been filtered out by the length or hard-cluster settings. Try widening the minimum/maximum length or turning off the cluster filter.
Does the language setting change the spelling of my names?
No — it only tells the tool which accented letters (like á, ü or ô) count as vowels when splitting, so names in that language are divided correctly. Turn on "Keep diacritics" to preserve those accents in the result, or off to flatten them to plain letters.
Are the names I enter uploaded anywhere?
No. Combining runs entirely in your browser — the names never leave your device.
