Output

Email signature generator

Fill in your name, job title, company and contact details, and this tool builds a ready-to-use email signature. The markup is built with nested HTML tables and inline styles rather than modern CSS layout, because that is what still renders correctly in Outlook, older webmail clients and mobile mail apps that strip out stylesheets.

Choose a horizontal layout, with your details and contacts side by side separated by a thin divider, or a vertical one that stacks everything in a single column. Pick an accent color for your name and links, and a font from a short list of web-safe stacks — Arial, Georgia, Verdana, Trebuchet MS and Courier New — each with a proper fallback chain so the signature still looks intentional on a device that lacks the first choice. Font size, the divider line and a legal disclaimer (confidentiality notices, environmental footers) are all optional. Add social links as plain text pairs like "LinkedIn:https://linkedin.com/in/jane" — no logo icons or profile photos are pulled in, since most email clients block external images by default and would show a broken square instead.

Leave the email field blank to skip the mailto: link, or fill it in and the tool validates the format before building the link. Need a version for a plain-text-only client or a chat signature? Toggle the plain-text option and the same fields render as clean, unstyled lines instead of markup.

Everything runs in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or stored anywhere. Copy the HTML straight into your mail client's signature settings, download it as a .txt file to paste later, or send the output back to the input to keep refining it.

FAQ

Why can I not add a logo or photo?
Most email clients block externally hosted images by default, so a logo often shows up as a broken icon for the recipient. This generator sticks to text and inline styles so the signature looks the same everywhere.
Will the signature look identical in every email client?
The table-based markup with inline styles is the most compatible approach available, but small differences in spacing or font rendering between clients like Outlook and Gmail are normal.
How do I add social media links?
Enter them as "Label:URL" pairs separated by commas, for example "LinkedIn:linkedin.com/in/jane, X:https://x.com/jane". A bare domain is automatically prefixed with https://.
Can I get a plain-text version instead of HTML?
Yes. Turn on the plain-text option and the same fields are laid out as simple lines with no markup, ready for clients or chat tools that do not render HTML.
Is my information uploaded anywhere?
No. The signature is built entirely in your browser from the fields you fill in — nothing is sent to a server.
