Hashtag generator

Paste a list of phrases — one per line — and this tool turns each one into a ready-to-post hashtag, or switch to "top words by frequency" to pull the most-used words straight out of a caption, article or transcript and turn those into hashtags instead. Either way, the output is a clean, deduplicated list you can drop straight under an Instagram post, a TikTok caption or a tweet.

The case option controls how multi-word phrases are joined: CamelCase capitalizes each word before removing the spaces (#DigitalMarketing), which keeps long tags readable, while lowercase joins them as one run of letters (#digitalmarketing), which matches how many brands prefer their tags to look. Turning on "strip diacritics" converts accented letters to their plain ASCII equivalents first, since accents inside a hashtag can behave inconsistently across apps. "Skip stop words" drops common function words like "the" or "and" so a phrase like "the best pizza in town" becomes #BestPizzaTown instead of carrying dead weight, and it applies the same filtering when ranking top words.

Set the separator to space, comma or a new line depending on where you are pasting the result, and cap the output with the maximum-hashtags option. Instagram caps a single post at 30 hashtags, so once your result passes that count the tally under the output flags it — trim the list or lower the maximum to stay under the limit.

Everything runs locally in your browser: your captions, drafts and word lists are never uploaded anywhere. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send the output straight back into the input to refine it further.

FAQ

What is the difference between the two case styles?
CamelCase capitalizes the first letter of every word before joining them (#WeekendVibes), which stays readable in long tags. Lowercase joins the words as-is (#weekendvibes), matching the plain style many accounts prefer.
How does "top words by frequency" work?
It scans the whole input, counts how often each word appears, and lists the most frequent ones as individual hashtags — handy for turning a caption or article into topic tags without retyping anything.
Why does it warn me about 30 hashtags?
Instagram silently ignores an entire post’s hashtags once you pass 30 in a single caption or comment. The tool flags your result past that count so you can trim it before posting.
What do stop words do to the result?
With "skip stop words" on, common function words (the, and, of, and their equivalents) are dropped before a hashtag is built, so a phrase keeps its meaningful words instead of padding out the tag.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Hashtag generation runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type or paste is sent to a server.
