Keyword grouper
Cluster a list of keywords by a shared word, so related search terms sit together.
Keyword grouper
Paste a list of keywords, one per line, and this tool clusters them by a word they share — every phrase containing "cheap" in one group, every phrase containing "review" in another. It suits the moment after keyword research: a few hundred phrases from a research tool or rank tracker that need organizing into topics before they become content briefs, ad groups or page targets.
"Group by" controls which word forms the cluster key: the first word, the last word, or any shared word — the last option lets a phrase join more than one group, so "cheap hotel review" can sit in both a pricing cluster and a review cluster. "Ignore stop words" keeps filler like "the" or "with" from becoming a key. A minimum group size hides one-off clusters, and a modifier list — price, review, guide, free, best — restricts grouping to those known commercial terms instead of every repeated word.
Grouping matches exact words, not stems, so "flight" and "flights" form separate clusters — worth knowing if your list mixes singular and plural phrasing. Pick how the result is shown: indented groups for reading, CSV with a group column for a spreadsheet, or a compact table with a count per group. The tool handles Windows and Unix line endings alike, and the tally under the output reports keywords in, groups formed and how many were left ungrouped.
Everything runs in your browser. Your keyword list is never uploaded, so it is safe to use with client research or unpublished content plans. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send it back to the input to refine the grouping further.
