Remove numbers

Paste your text and every number disappears — from scanned-document exports full of page numbers, transcripts with timestamps, log lines with counters, or copied tables where the figures are noise and the words are what you need. The result appears instantly as you type, ready to copy or download.

The remove option decides how aggressive the cleanup is. All digits deletes every digit character wherever it stands, including digits inside words, so abc123 becomes abc — and it covers Unicode digits such as Arabic-Indic ٠١٢ too. Whole numbers only is the surgical mode: it removes standalone number tokens, including decimals and grouped figures like 3.14 or 1,299.00, but leaves digits embedded in words alone, so product codes like AB12CD and names like MP3 survive intact.

Removals tend to leave gaps. Also remove leftover double spaces collapses runs of spaces into one and trims spaces at line ends, so "Order 583 shipped" becomes "Order shipped" rather than "Order shipped". If a line was nothing but numbers, remove lines that become empty drops it entirely — while lines that were already blank stay, so your paragraph structure is preserved. The live tally shows how many digits were removed and the character count before and after.

FAQ

What is the difference between all digits and whole numbers only?
All digits deletes every digit character, even inside words: abc123 becomes abc. Whole numbers only removes standalone numbers such as 42, 3.14 or 1,299.00 and keeps digits that are part of a word, so codes like AB12CD stay intact.
Does it handle non-Latin digits?
In all digits mode, yes — every Unicode decimal digit is removed, including Arabic-Indic ٠١٢ and Devanagari ०१२. Whole numbers only targets standard 0–9 tokens and leaves other scripts alone.
What exactly does the double-space cleanup do?
It collapses any run of two or more spaces into a single space and trims spaces at the start and end of each line. It applies to the whole text, so pre-existing double spaces are cleaned as well. Turn it off to keep spacing exactly as it was.
Which lines does "remove lines that become empty" drop?
Only lines that had content before and are blank after the numbers are removed. Lines that were already empty stay, so blank lines between paragraphs are not lost.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and your text never leaves your device.
