Truth or dare generator

This tool generates truth questions and dare challenges for a game of truth or dare, drawn from a built-in set of over 150 prompts. Use it at a party, a game night, a virtual hangout or any time a group needs a quick, ready-made prompt instead of making one up on the spot. Nothing here is vulgar or unsafe — every dare is something you can do in a living room, and every truth is a question, not a demand.

The Type option chooses whether you get truth questions, dare challenges, or a random mix of both on every generation. Level controls the intensity: Mild keeps things light and suitable for any group, Party adds a bit more playfulness, and Awkward leans into good-natured cringe without crossing into anything vulgar or risky. Count sets how many prompts appear at once, from a single question up to ten, and each one is labeled so it is clear whether it is a truth or a dare.

Turn on "Avoid repeats this session" and the generator keeps track of which prompts it has already shown you in this browser tab, skipping them until every prompt at that level has come up once. Turn it off and each draw is fully independent, so the same prompt can come up more than once. Refreshing the page starts a fresh session.

Everything runs locally in your browser — no prompt, option or generated result is ever sent anywhere. Copy the list, download it as a .txt file for offline use, or generate a fresh batch whenever the group is ready for more.

FAQ

Is any of the content vulgar or dangerous?
No. Every prompt was written to be safe for a general audience — no sexual content, no substances and nothing that risks injury or embarrassment beyond a light laugh.
Can I get only truths or only dares?
Yes. Set Type to Truth or Dare to draw exclusively from that list, or leave it on Random for a mix of both.
What does "Avoid repeats this session" actually track?
It remembers which prompts you have already generated in this browser tab for the current level and type, so you see each one once before any repeat. Reloading the page resets that memory.
How many prompts are in the built-in list?
Over 150, split evenly across truth and dare, and across the mild, party and awkward levels.
Is my activity uploaded anywhere?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser using its own built-in prompt list — nothing is sent to a server.
