YouTube title generator

Paste a video topic and a few keywords — one per line, or separated by commas — and this tool assembles 10 title suggestions using formats that consistently perform well on YouTube: how-to, listicle, question, "X vs Y", and the curiosity-driven "nobody tells you" style. Use it when a video is edited and named but the title still needs work, or to compare several angles before you commit to one.

The Format option lets you mix all five built-in formats across the 10 suggestions or lock onto a single one — pick "How to" for a tutorial, "Listicle" for a numbered rundown, or "X vs Y" when the video compares two things. Target style shifts the wording between Educational phrasing ("a step-by-step guide", "backed by research") and Entertaining phrasing ("hacks that actually work", "the showdown"). Letter case switches the output between Title Case and Sentence case, so you can match your channel's usual style without retyping anything.

Every suggestion is shown with its exact character count, and anything past 70 characters is flagged — YouTube and Google search results truncate titles around that length, so a title that reads well in the editor can still get cut off with "..." where it matters most. Keywords rotate through the suggestions so the same word doesn't repeat in every line, and if you paste a topic with no keywords at all the tool still produces ten usable variations.

Everything runs locally in your browser — your video ideas are never uploaded anywhere. Copy the full list, download it as a .txt file to compare later, or send a single line to another tool such as the SERP pixel width checker to preview exactly how it will look in search results.

FAQ

How does the tool decide which 10 titles to suggest?
It combines your topic and keywords with built-in, proven title formats — how-to, listicle, question, "X vs Y" and "nobody tells you" — and rotates through your keywords so the suggestions stay varied.
Why is 70 characters the limit?
YouTube and Google search results truncate long titles at roughly that length. Titles over 70 characters are marked so you can shorten them before they get cut off with "...".
What if I only give a topic and no keywords?
The tool still generates 10 titles. Formats that normally use a keyword, like "X vs Y", fall back to generic wording instead.
Can I generate titles in just one format, like listicles?
Yes. Set the Format option to a single format instead of "Mix all formats" and all 10 suggestions will use it, with varied numbers and keywords.
Is my video topic uploaded anywhere?
No. Title generation runs entirely in your browser — your topic and keywords never leave your device.
