Instagram caption generator

Paste a few keywords describing your photo — a place, a dish, a mood — and this tool assembles three ready-to-post Instagram captions from them, in the topic and tone you choose. It is built for the moment you are staring at a great photo with nothing to say about it: pick a starting point, copy the line you like best, and adjust a word or two.

Six topics cover the most common kinds of posts — travel, food, fitness, selfie, nature and business — and each pairs with three tones: funny, inspirational or minimalist. The topic shapes the vocabulary and the hashtag pool; the tone shapes the sentence structure, from a one-word minimalist caption to a longer inspirational line with an extra clause. The hashtag count slider adds that many relevant tags from a built-in list for the chosen topic, up to Instagram's own habits around 15–20 per post, and the caption length option controls how much each line says beyond the core sentence.

Keywords can be separated by commas or by new lines, and multiple keywords are spread across the three captions rather than repeated in all of them — list "sunset, beach, friends" and each caption picks up a different one. The live tally below the output counts captions, hashtags and total characters, which matters because Instagram caps a caption at 2,200 characters. Templates and hashtags are English, since that is what the built-in library was written in; typing keywords in another language still works, they simply appear inside an English sentence.

Everything runs locally in your browser: no keyword, photo description or caption you type here is ever sent anywhere. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or clear the field and try a different topic or tone — a fresh set of captions and hashtags is generated instantly as you type.

FAQ

Can I use my own keywords instead of the built-in topics?
Yes. The topic and tone pick the sentence templates and hashtag pool, but the keywords you type are what actually appear in each caption — list a few, separated by commas or new lines.
Why do I get the same three captions if I regenerate right away?
You won't — captions and hashtags are chosen randomly from the built-in templates and pool each time the output recomputes, so retyping or nudging an option usually produces a different set.
Are the hashtags guaranteed to fit Instagram's limits?
The hashtag count is capped at 30, Instagram's own per-post maximum, and each topic's pool has enough unique tags that you won't see duplicates in one result.
Can I generate captions in Slovak, German or another language?
The built-in caption templates and hashtags are English only. Your own keywords can be in any language, but they will appear inside an English sentence rather than a fully translated one.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Caption and hashtag generation runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server.
