Meeting minutes formatter
Paste raw meeting notes and this tool turns them into structured minutes, with attendees, agenda, decisions and action items pulled out automatically. It looks for headings such as "Attendees", "Agenda" and "Decisions", and scans every line — headed or not — for tasks naming a person and a deadline, so a stray line like "Peter: send the invoice by 2026-09-15" becomes a tracked action item even without an "Action items" heading.
Task recognition works one of two ways: by marker, which looks for a leading name and colon, a TODO tag, a checkbox or an @mention, or by verb, which looks for a line opening with an instruction like "send", "prepare" or "review". Due date format sets how deadlines print — as 2026-09-15, 15.09.2026 or 09/15/2026 — and group action items by sorts the task list by person or by due date. Number agenda items switches between a numbered and a bulleted agenda, and include original notes appends the untouched input as a reference at the end. Heading language sets the section titles' own language, independent of the language the notes were written in.
The parser runs on fixed heuristics, not on reading for meaning: it knows a handful of date formats and a short list of task verbs, and a task needs both a name and a date to be extracted — one with neither is left where it was. Windows and Unix line endings are handled alike, and the tally under the output reports how many sections and action items turned up.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Meeting notes often carry names, projects and internal details, and none of that text is ever uploaded — copy the formatted minutes, download them as a .txt file, or send the output back into the input to refine it further.
