MRR and ARR calculator
Turn a list of subscriptions into MRR, ARR and a per-customer revenue breakdown.
MRR and ARR calculator
Paste a list of subscriptions, one per line, as customer;amount;period — monthly, quarterly or yearly — and this tool normalizes every line to monthly recurring revenue, then adds it all up. The result shows MRR (monthly recurring revenue), ARR (annual recurring revenue), the number of paying customers, average revenue per customer, and a breakdown of revenue by billing period and by plan. It's built for the moment a spreadsheet export needs a quick sanity check without setting up a formula.
Each line can carry more than the basics. Add a license count to bill per seat (customer;price;monthly;5), a discount percentage to model a negotiated rate, a plan name to see revenue split by tier, and a currency code alongside the exchange rate option to blend foreign-currency deals into one total. Turn on "Amounts include VAT" when your export lists gross prices, so the reported revenue is net. A period of "onetime" (or "once") marks a line as non-recurring — it's totaled separately and never inflates MRR or ARR. Sorting by revenue and marking the top N customers makes it easy to spot who is actually driving the number.
Lines that don't parse — a typo in the period, a missing amount — are skipped and counted rather than stopping the whole calculation, so one bad row in a large export doesn't block the rest. Windows and Unix line endings both work, and the live tally under the output tracks customer count, MRR and ARR as you type.
Everything runs locally in your browser: revenue figures never leave your device, which matters for a metric this sensitive. Switch between a plain-text report and a pipe-delimited table, copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send it straight into another tool to keep working.
