Instagram bio generator

Type who you are, what you do, your hobbies, a call to action and an optional emoji — one per line — and this tool combines them into several ready-to-use Instagram bio variants. Each one comes with a live character count, so you always know how close you are to Instagram's 150-character bio limit before you paste it in.

The style option changes how the fields are combined: minimalist keeps your wording as typed, emoji prefixes each part with a small themed icon (a star for who you are, a briefcase for what you do, a target for hobbies, a pointing hand for the call to action), and professional strips emoji out entirely for a cleaner, business-appropriate tone. The line separator option controls how fields are joined on a single line — a bullet, a pipe, a middle dot or a real line break — and works alongside a one-line "stacked" variant that always puts one field per line and a "call to action first" variant for when you want the link-in-bio prompt to lead.

Leave any of the five lines blank and that field is simply skipped — a bio with only a job title and a call to action works just as well as one using all five. Turn off "Show 150-character limit" if you would rather see a plain character count without the "/150" and the over-limit warning mark. The tool also handles very long hobby lists and pasted text with Windows or Unix line endings without any extra setup.

Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or logged anywhere. Once you have a variant you like, copy it, download all variants as a .txt file, or send the result to another tool's input to keep editing.

FAQ

How do I fill in the five fields?
Type each field on its own line in the input box: who you are, what you do, your hobbies, a call to action, and an optional emoji. Separate multiple hobbies with commas. Leave a line blank to skip that field.
Why do I get more than one bio?
The tool builds a few different arrangements from the same fields — a single combined line, one field per line, and a version that leads with your call to action — so you can pick whichever reads best.
What does the number in parentheses mean?
It's the character count of that variant. With the 150-character limit shown, it appears as "count/150" and gets a ⚠ mark once it goes over Instagram's bio limit.
Does the emoji style pick emoji for me?
It adds one small fixed icon before each field (identity, role, hobbies, call to action) so the bio reads as a scannable list. Any emoji you type into a field, or the optional fifth line, comes through unchanged.
Is my bio text uploaded anywhere?
No. The bio is generated entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to a server or stored anywhere.
