Air fryer converter
Convert a classic oven recipe to air fryer settings, or the other way round.
Air fryer converter
Recipes are almost always written for a conventional oven, and an air fryer needs a lower temperature and a shorter time to produce the same result. This tool applies the rule cooks actually use — drop the temperature by about 20 °C and cut the time by roughly 20% — so you can take any oven recipe to the basket without guessing.
Paste one setting per line as temperature and time separated by a semicolon, like "200;25" for 200 °C and 25 minutes. A bare number with no time still converts the temperature alone, and either value can carry its own °C or °F letter that overrides the unit option for that line — handy when a recipe mixes units. Direction flips the rule so it also works backwards, turning an air fryer setting back into an oven one. Temperature unit switches the whole conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit, converting by the equivalent temperature step rather than just relabeling the number.
Every converted temperature is rounded to the nearest 5 degrees and every converted time to the nearest minute, so results land on values you would actually dial in. Below each converted time the tool adds a reminder of when to check the food, since air fryers cook faster and less evenly than an oven and benefit from a shake or a flip partway through. Dish preset fills in typical oven settings for common foods — fries, chicken, vegetables and more — whenever a line's temperature or time is left blank, so you can look one up without knowing the numbers by heart.
Conversion happens entirely in your browser; nothing you paste is uploaded anywhere. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send it to another tool to keep working on it.
