Water intake calculator
Estimate your recommended daily water intake and spread it into a drinking schedule.
Water intake calculator
Paste one entry per line as weight;age;temperature and this tool estimates how much water you should drink each day. It starts from a per-kilogram baseline that adjusts for age, then adds fluid for exercise and for a hot environment, so the result reflects an actual day rather than a single generic number. Age and temperature are optional — leave them out and the tool assumes a 30-year-old adult in a room-temperature environment.
The options panel controls the rest of the calculation. Choose kilograms or pounds for the weight you enter, and liters, milliliters, fluid ounces or glasses for how the results are displayed. "Minutes of sport per day" adds roughly 350 ml for every 30 minutes of activity, and pregnancy or breastfeeding each add their own fixed allowance on top of the baseline. Set your usual glass size and the tool converts the drinking target into a whole number of glasses, and set a start and end hour to spread that target into six evenly timed reminders across your day.
The recommended total isn't all meant to come from a glass: a typical diet already supplies a share of daily fluid, so the tool subtracts an estimate for food and shows the smaller number you actually need to drink. Switch the output between a plain text summary and a labeled table, paste several lines to plan for a family or a team, and the schedule adjusts instantly as you change any option — this is a general wellness estimate, not a substitute for medical advice on fluid intake.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Your weight, age and health details are never uploaded or stored anywhere; the calculation happens entirely on your device. Copy the result, download it as a .txt file, or send the output back into the input to tweak the numbers further.
